Dr. Lars’s journey toward becoming an IT expert and change manager evolved over many years. He began his career in consulting, gradually progressing into CIO roles across multiple multinational organizations. During this time, he successfully transformed internal operations and improved organizational efficiency.
These experiences sparked a realization: traditional workflows and legacy systems were holding companies back. Motivated by this insight, Dr. Lars set out to challenge outdated IT practices and reshape how organizations manage internal processes and deliver services.
The Birth of b-rightsource
Driven by the ambition to build a fully remote, highly integrated organization, Dr. Lars founded b-rightsource with a clear goal: eliminate inefficiencies and enable teams to operate as a single, unified system regardless of location.
Originally launched in Barcelona with a focus on serving the Swiss market, the company later pivoted toward service management. This strategic shift proved decisive. Leveraging ServiceNow as a core platform, b-rightsource became the first Bronze Technology Partner in 2017 to publish a product on the ServiceNow Store.

Under Dr. Lars’s leadership, b-rightsource achieved several industry milestones. The company became a ServiceNow Premier Partner, an SAP Technology Partner, and the first Swiss company to offer a product on the ServiceNow Store.

Designed to improve internal corporate workflows, the product set the foundation for a broader product strategy focused on automation and process digitization. With strong in-house SAP expertise, b-rightsource bridges the gap between IT and SAP teams, enabling seamless integration and fully digital workflows.

As Founder and Managing Director, Dr. Lars is deeply involved in shaping strategy, overseeing sales, managing partnerships, driving business development, and identifying new opportunities for customers. Leading a remote organization brings its own challenges, but he addresses them through structured communication and regular virtual meetings.
He explains that his greatest motivation comes from transforming ideas into real solutions that customers value. Seeing employees take pride in their work and receiving positive client feedback reinforces his commitment to innovation.
Working remotely also gives him back valuable time. An early riser, Dr. Lars follows a disciplined daily routine that includes exercise, focused work sessions, and structured breaks. Outside of work, he enjoys cultural pursuits such as opera, travel, scuba diving, and sailing. In quieter times, he prefers reading or watching films, always balancing creativity with strategic thinking.
Scaling Toward a Global Future
Today, b-rightsource generates revenue primarily through product development, consulting, and ServiceNow-driven solutions. The company’s product roadmap is designed to expand steadily, with new offerings and partnerships planned for the coming years.
The shift toward remote work in recent years has only strengthened the company’s model. Global expansion remains a core strategic objective. While the initial focus was on German-speaking regions, b-rightsource is now preparing to scale internationally.
